Welcome to Manufacturing & Engineering
The manufacturing industry is growing in Central Oregon. Everything from airplanes to guitars, from rock climbing walls to rifles, are all being produced in our region. These industries offer high-paying jobs, and these industries need skilled employees.
In response to this demand, Redmond High School has partnered with many of our local manufacturers and higher education options to create the Manufacturing & Engineering Program. Students in the program are given a foundational level of training in the following areas:

Manufacturing skill sets: manual machining, design in CAD/CAM, welding, and CNC machining.

LEAN practices.

Marketing and business principles.

College and career readiness, which includes clear written and verbal communication, reliability, self-management, and initiative/accountability.
Our goal is to produce highly motivated, skilled, and industry savvy graduates, ready to enter their college or career of choice.
